Single items and furniture
Just the one awkward piece
Not every job is a whole house. Sometimes it is one wardrobe up a narrow cottage hall, one fridge into a fourth-floor unit, or a piano that has to come down a tight stair. That is exactly the piece worth doing properly.
The single item is where amateur moves go wrong: the piece that is too heavy, too tall, or too rigid for the opening. It is also where the right two people with the right straps make it look easy. We bring the trolley, the blankets and the shoulder dollies, and we know when a wardrobe needs its doors off or a table needs its legs off.
The pieces we get called for
- Timber wardrobes and tallboys, tilted or dismantled to clear the door
- Fridges and washing machines, strapped and trolleyed safely
- Sofas that need to go through on their end, feet first
- Upright pianos, where the weight is the real job, tell us early
- Dining tables, legs off and the top slid through flat
Not sure it will fit?
That is exactly what the Threshold Check is for. Tap the piece, pick your home, and it will tell you whether it goes straight through, needs a turn, or comes apart first.
Got one big piece to move?
Tell us what it is and where it is going, and we will bring the right hands and gear.
